National Park College (NPC) will host a dedication of the Bob Luciew Veterans Services Center Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Student Commons building second-floor lobby.

Bob and June Luciew committed to helping students who served in the armed forces complete their education. Bob served in the U.S. Navy and June had a career as a registered nurse. They have supported NPC’s Veterans Services for many years through their generous scholarships. They established an endowment in 2014 after attending an NPC graduation ceremony where they witnessed a large number of veteran students stand and be recognized. Following Bob’s death last year, June decided to honor him by naming the Bob Luciew Veterans Services Center. The Center will provide a dedicated space for NPC’s veterans to relax and recharge.

In addition to the dedication, NPC Veterans Services will also host a traditional Veterans Day celebration that will include the Hot Springs World Class High School Color Guard and a ceremony conducted by veteran students.
