Nighthawks Split Road Series

National Park College Basketball

The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawks men’s basketball team (5-1) defeated Arkansas Tech University’s junior varsity team in Russellville on Friday, 98-94.

Sayvon Traylor (Atlanta, GA) led the Nighthawks in scoring with 30 points. Sophomores Kam Vick (Little Rock) and Kylil Anderson (Fort Worth, TX) scored 19 and 14 points, respectively, while freshman Rodrique Massenat (Trenton, NJ) finished with 10 points in the win. The Nighthawks play host to Southern University-Shreveport today in “The Kettle” at National Park College at 7 p.m. In women’s action on Friday, the Nighthawks (2-6) were defeated by No. 3 Labette Community College, 75-62, at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, OK.
