Head Coach Marvin Moody Leaves NPC
NPC women's basketball coach Marvin Moody has accepted a position to become Director
of the Better Chances program. In three seasons with NPC, Moody led the Nighthawks
to a 20-35 record, including two playoff appearances, while also producing multiple
NJCAA All-Region II team members and an NJCAA All-American third team honoree. In
2019, his first year as head coach of the team, Moody was named the NJCAA's All-Region
II Coach of the Year. He will be missed and we and wish him the best of luck in his
new opportunity.
"We are happy for Coach Moody and his promotion," NPC Athletic Director Jason Hudnell
said. "While we are sad that his position will no longer allow him the time to work
with our women's basketball program, we are proud of him and the job he will do continuing
to serve students in Garland County."
