Alpha Beta Psi Wins At Regional Convention

Cory Morris, Marie Linden-Cox, Edgar Ceja, and Lexie Sisson, the 2019-2020 officers of PTK holding their awards.Alpha Beta Psi, National Park College’s (NPC) chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), attended the Oklahoma/Arkansas Regional Convention March 6 – 7, 2020, at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR.

Alpha Beta Psi submitted projects completed in 2019 for awards regionally and internationally. The team won the following awards on the regional level:

  • Most Distinguished Chapter – 1st
  • College Project Award of Distinction – 1st
  • Theme 6 Honors in Action Award – 1st
  • Most Distinguished Officer Team – 1st
  • Most Edgy Chapter – 1st
  • Top Five Honors in Action – 2nd

Edgar Ceja, the 2019-2020 Vice President of Service, won second for Distinguished Chapter Officer and third place for his prepared speech.

International awards will be presented virtually during PTK Catalyst, April 2020 in Grapevine, Texas.
