Marine Technology Receives Donation From Suzuki
The National Park College (NPC) Marine Technology program recently received a boat
motor from Suzuki. The motor is a 250 horsepower engine valued at $24,315.
Donations from industry leaders help NPC students maintain training and education with the newest equipment.
Marine technology student Yeu Vang said, “I am extremely excited to be working on the latest technology, especially our Suzuki 250 that Suzuki has provided to us. In addition, the Suzuki Diagnostic System (SDS) software program allows us to be training on products that will be common in the workplace.”
Marine technology instructor Delmar Hunter stated, “Anytime our students can get access to new technology for training that they will see in the industry they benefit immensely. We are extremely happy to have a number of industry partners who believe in education. Suzuki is no exception.”
