National Park College (NPC) welcomed Wendy Fargo to the first Friday luncheon February
7, 2020. Fargo came equipped with herbal solutions for healthy living and herbal teas
to sample. The lecture covered how local plants can be used to ease ailments, perk
up the immune system and increase health and happiness. “I love to teach people about
herbs. It’s empowering. It is so exciting to know that with a handful of four or five
different herbs growing in your yard, or in a pot, you can pretty much handle any
crisis,” said Fargo regarding her journey to wellness.
The first Friday Luncheon is hosted by the Math and Sciences division and NPC Student
Services as an academic enrichment opportunity.
