Two Nighthawks Head To The Next Level

Two members of the National Park College Nighthawk men’s basketball team have signed with four-year colleges to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

On Wednesday, sophomore Logan WillettLogan Willet signing with Crowley's Ridge College (Faith Prep Academy) signed with Crowley’s Ridge College—a Division II NAIA school in Paragould, Arkansas. In his final season with the Nighthawks, Willett averaged six points per game, while serving as one of the program’s most consistent three-point scoring threats over his two-year tenure. Willett bolsters a Pioneers team that finished 7-23 last season.

On Friday, sophomore Braylon Steen (Bryant) committed to SouthBraylon Steen signing with Southwestern College.western College—a Division II NAIA school in Winfield, Kansas. The guard averaged 11.6 points per game for the Nighthawks last season, while also leading the team in blocks (0.7 per game), steals (1.3 per game) and rebounds (9.8 per game). Steen, an NJCAA All-Region Secon Team honoree, joins a Linx squad that finished 28-5 last season with a second-round appearance in the NAIA Division II Men’s basketball tournament.
