Phi Theta Kappa Clinch Wins At Catalyst

Officers and advisors of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) attended the Catalyst International Convention in Orlando, FL April 5-7. During this event, they participated in breakout sessions and listened to speakers such as Jeff Henderson, celebrity chef and author, and Mel Robbins a best-selling author and social media influencer.

Alpha Beta Psi, the PTK chapter of NPC, came home with two international awards including Distinguished College Project for their work on the Student Showcase and Awards week, and recognized as one of the top 100 chapters of PTK out of more than 1250 chapters.

NPC’s chapter of PTK is part of the Oklahoma/Arkansas region. NPC instructor Rebekah Robinette, Ph.D., serves as the Regional Coordinator and Cory Morris served as the Eastern vice president for the region.

As a region, PTK was recognized as a Five-Star Region, the highest achievement level and won the Regional Awards for Excellence in Scholarship, Excellence in Fellowship and Excellence in College Completion. The regional officer team also won the distinguished regional officer team award.
