NPC To Make Special Announcement For Van Davis 5K
National Park College (NPC) will make a special announcement regarding the 8th Annual Van Davis Memorial 5K Tuesday, November 12 at noon outside of the Student Commons building.
The annual event began in 2013 and established the Van Davis Scholarship endowment. The scholarship was created to continue the legacy established by Dr. Van Davis. This year’s proceeds will be used to support student success initiatives at NPC.
Dr. Davis was an esteemed member of the NPC faculty and Chair of the Social Sciences Division, teaching students for nearly 38 years and inspiring them to use their drive, passion, humor and intellect to succeed at earning college degrees.
The announcement event is free and open to the public.
