National Park College (NPC) will host Native American Steven Morales in celebration
of Native American Heritage Month Wednesday, November 20 at 12:15 p.m. in Student
Commons conference room 122.
Morales will discuss and display Native American artifacts, weapons, baskets and
other items primarily used by the Cherokee, Cheyenne and Sioux. He will be accompanied
with traditional songs that date hundreds of years old and are sung in the Lakota
and Cherokee language with a buffalo hide drum and cedar flute.
