National Park College welcomes Julian Post in his new role at the College as a physics
and engineering instructor.
Post received his Associate of Science at Garland County Community College, his Bachelor
of Science in Physics from Henderson State University, and Ph.D. in Applied Physics
from the University of Arkansas Little Rock (UALR).
He spent ten years at UALR as an assistant professor and during that time also served
as the assistant director of the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium (ASGC) and the radiation
safety officer. Post came to NPC in 2017 as the Makerspace program coordinator.
Post has numerous hobbies and interests but especially enjoys woodworking, electronics,
photography, gardening, and tinkering.
“I really like how this college has evolved and has been centered around the community
for the community,” said Post. “This place helped me get my head on straight [as a
student] … and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the community and give back
to the College that gave me so much.”
