Hospitality Welcomed Saddiq Mir
Saddiq Mir, Vice President of Hospitality for Oaklawn Racing and Gaming spoke to Intro
to Hospitality students this week to address industry career ladders and characteristics
of the ideal hospitality and tourism employee.
Mir shared about his own career and he explained that in Europe, a degree is required
before anyone may join the hospitality industry. He said he is interested in NPC's
graduates because he knows they will come in with a management knowledge base, hands-on
training, and a desire to succeed.
