National Park College (NPC) history faculty Dr. Christopher Thrasher and Richard Trantham
took 37 students on a field trip to Hot Springs National Park. Lisa Allen, a National
Park Ranger, provided a guided tour of the Fordyce Museum.
The tour was a new experience for 20 of the students that participated. Allen provided
the students with a more in-depth knowledge of Hot Springs, the National Park located
in Hot Springs, and the history of Hot Springs National Park.
In a post visit survey, students expressed their eagerness to learn more about Hot
Springs and the National Park.
