The National Park College (NPC) Math and Sciences division and Student Services hosted
the First Friday Lunch and Lecture Friday, December 6.
Guest speakers included Barbara Parks and Tracy Klotz of KP Exotics. Klotz is an
instructor for the Biological Sciences department at Arkansas State University. Parks
has spent many years loving and learning about many species of animals.
Parks and Klotz enjoy spending time teaching others about reptiles. They provided
hands-on experiences with their snakes, as well as information about how to house,
feed and care for snakes. In their presentation, they also debunked myths that surround
snakes.
