National Park College welcomes Ashley Taylor as the new mathematics instructor.
Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Arkansas Tech University
in 2011 and her Master of Science in Mathematics and Master of Science in College
Student Personnel Services from Arkansas State University in 2014. In 2019, she also
received a Graduate Certificate in College and University Teaching from Ball State
University.
Taylor formerly served as the graduate hall director at Arkansas State University,
assistant director of residence life at the University of Houston, and the residence
hall director for Ball State University. She has also taught adjunct for Ivy Tech
Community College.
Taylor enjoys camping, hiking, and shopping at flea markets and yard sales. In her
spare time, she also umpires youth softball.
“I choose NPC because I wanted a place where I could teach Mathematics at the college
level and influence a diverse group of students,” she said. “Hot Springs National
Park is a great place to live if you like the outdoors, and National Park College
is close to my hometown where most of my family live.”
