National Park College (NPC) Vice President for Workforce and Strategic Initiatives,
Kelli Albrecht was appointed to the Arkansas Science, Technology, Engineering and
Math (STEM) Coalition last week.
The Arkansas STEM Coalition is a statewide network of leaders from agencies and organizations
across the state who advocate and develop initiatives to support STEM related teaching
and learning. Their goal is to expand economic development and increase wages for
Arkansas workers.
“I am honored to serve on the board of the Arkansas STEM Coalition. STEM education
is a cornerstone for a strong Arkansas economy. National Park College is committed
to furthering STEM opportunities for students through many of our programs and our
Innovative Technologies Center. My hope is to partner with colleagues across the state
to increase engagement and ensure that students have opportunities to receive exceptional
STEM career training that will lead to well-paying careers right here in Arkansas,”
said Albrecht.
