After weeks of recipe testing, they came up with the triple chocolate cappuccino flavor. Students prepared 900 mini cupcakes for the event, which was hosted at the Embassy Suites.

Instead of doing conventional icing, fillings and batter, the students created a chocolate chunk mocha flavored batter filled with chocolate panna cotta custard and topped with an airy chocolate mocha mousse. Topping off the dessert was a sprinkle of edible gold glitter.

Hospitality student Trinity Taylor said, “It was really nice to come together as a group to do a project outside of the classroom that benefited a worthy cause.”
