NPC To Host Manufacturing Day Events

National Park College (NPC) is coordinating a series of events on Manufacturing Day October 5. Six area manufacturing companies and suppliers are providing industry tours, guest speakers, and participating in NPC campus events. Five local public schools have registered to participate with more than 400 students.

Manufacturing Day is part of a nationwide initiative from partner organizations trying to correct common misconceptions about manufacturing and recruit younger workers into high-wage and high-demand manufacturing careers.

NPC Campus Program Tours

The following programs will provide hands-on demonstrations during campus tours:

  • Industrial Technology
  • Pre-Engineering
  • Machine Tooling
  • Wood Technology

Participating Schools Include:

Industry Tours Include:

  • Timber Automation
  • Airtech Supply
  • Berry Global
  • Triumph Airborne Structures
  • Window Mart
  • NPC Innovative Technologies Center
