NPC To Host Homecoming Week Events

National Park College (NPC) will host homecoming events leading up to the basketball games scheduled for February 24 at the NPC Gym Complex.

Homecoming festivities will begin with a pep rally Wednesday, February 21 at 11:30 a.m. on the quad between the library and the lab sciences building. Free lunch will be served and student organizations will compete in a school spirit contest.

The 6th Annual Van Davis Memorial 5K Run will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 24. Registration information is available at www.np.edu/VanDavis5K.

An alumni reception will be held in the Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24. Attendees will enjoy a meet and greet with current and former athletes and have an opportunity to reminisce with photos from College archives. Lunch will be provided courtesy of Hot Springs Baptist Church. All National Park College, Garland County Community College, and Quapaw Technical Institute alumni are encouraged to attend and bring memorabilia to share.

Following the reception, the Nighthawk women’s team will play ASU Mid-South at 12:30 p.m. The Nighthawk men’s team will play Champion Christian College for their third and final meet of the season. Alumni will be recognized during the games.
