On September 22, 2018, Rocky Eagon, Student Government Association (SGA) advisor,
Christopher Thrasher, Director of the Honors Program, and a team of 28 students from
SGA, Phi Theta Kapa (PTK), and the Honors Program participated in the Arkansas Trash
Bash. The group removed trash from Entergy Park and the Lake Hamilton shoreline. Event
organizers praised the students for their hard work and expressed their gratitude
for the college’s support. The event’s staff noted that National Park College provided
more volunteers for this event than any other organization.
