Congratulations to October student of the month Jay Jones. Jay is a practical nursing
student. He is a team player in the classroom as well as the clinical setting. He
is frequently seen offering assistance to peers, patients, and residents whenever
needed. He conveys caring and compassion when interacting with residents in long-term
care.
He works as a mental health assistant and retired from the United States Navy with
20 years of service. He has been married for 30 years; they have 3 grown children
and 1 grandson. He commutes from Benton every day and has maintained perfect attendance
since he began classes in July.
