Ashley Kincannon, a Lake Hamilton Junior High teacher, credits her alma matter for
her success, “My journey to success began with National Park. My background, statistically,
says I shouldn’t be here today.”
Taking advantage of all NPC had to offer, Kincannon’s journey at NPC started in HS
with concurrent enrollment. She credits Talent Search and other programs on campus
with giving her the skills needed to thrive. Kincannon received her AA in teaching
from NPC before heading over to Henderson State to complete her BA and Masters of
Education in English as a Second Language.
“Every success I have had, I can trace back to National Park. My love for learning,
my ambition, my determination, my confidence, all of that grew and sprouted from here.”
She and her husband Michael have two young daughters.
