NPC Announces 2017-18 Nighthawk Cheer Team
National Park College (NPC) announced the 2017-18 Nighthawk Cheer Team Thursday. This is the first year for the Nighthawk Cheer Team.
This year’s team consists of students from six area high schools. Each member has more than two years of cheer and/or dance experience. Cheer Coach, Ricki Rebollar said, “The excitement amongst the cheerleaders is unreal.”
This year’s team captain and co-captain are Brooke Neel from Arkadelphia and Ethan
Cooper from Lake Hamilton High School. Other members include Jordan Simpson (Glen
Rose), Cecilia Lopez (Hot Springs), Lindsay Johnson (Mountain Pine), Jeffery Stone
(Lake Hamilton), Emma McKnight (Cutter Morning Star), Allie Fox (Lake Hamilton), and
Jacquline Dixson (Cutter Morning Star).

“My expectations for the group this year is to encourage school spirit to the student body and the NPC community. Also, for our students to have a positive attitude and to have fun,” said Rebollar.
Members of the Nighthawk Cheer Team receive a $500 scholarship for the academic year.
