National Park College (NPC) will host safeTALK suicide awareness training Friday, October 13 from 8 a.m. to noon in the Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences room 116.
The safeTALK training is being offered through a partnership with Suicide Prevention Allies and CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. The half-day alertness training is designed to help those who want to become alert to the dangers of suicide. It will include access to local community resources and hands-on skills and practice. It is not intended for those who have recently lost a loved one to suicide.
