NPC’s Alpha Beta Psi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) tapped students for invitation
into the honors society last week. More than 250 students were invited to join the
organization. PTK is the international honor society of two-year colleges. A student
must have completed 12 or more semester hours of coursework at NPC and must have a
cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher to be invited for membership. In order
to remain a member in good standing, a student must maintain a cumulative 3.25 GPA
or higher. PTK allows students to develop skills in leadership, scholarship, fellowship,
and service. Pictured is PTK president Howard Cheresnick presenting an invitation
