Dr. Nancy Anderson, Superintendent of Cutter Morning Star School District, credits
National Park College for laying the foundation for her love of education. Anderson
attended Garland County Community College as a non-traditional student and a working
wife and mother. She completed her Master’s at Henderson State University and recently
earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
Anderson has spent the past 19 years as an educator and is very active in multiple-state
educational associations working to improve public education in Arkansas. One of her
biggest career accomplishments is taking Cutter Morning School District, a district
labeled in financial distress by the state, and turning it around to be financially
sound within one year.
