NEW ADHE DIRECTOR, DR. MARIA MARKHAM VISITS NPC

Hot Springs, Arkansas – National Park College (NPC) welcomed newly selected Director of the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE), Dr. Maria Markham Wednesday during an informal reception.

Dr. Markham has toured many campuses across the state over the past few weeks. She said, “I appreciate the warm welcome I have received from everyone. I have enjoyed learning more about the unique missions of our state’s colleges and universities and look forward to working with each of them to improve student success and degree attainment. I am proud of the work National Park College is doing to meet that goal.”

Dr. Markham met with campus employees and student leaders in the board room of the Fisher Campus Center and then toured the marine technology and welding programs.
