SPSFGC Awards 19 Scholarships
September 23, 2016Hot Springs, Arkansas – National Park College (NPC) hosted a reception for the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Garland County (SPSFGC) Thursday evening. The Single Parent Scholarship Fund was established in 1990. Their mission is to enable single parents to attain self-sufficiency through post-secondary education. Recipients and their families were invited to attend. Dr. John Hogan presented opening remarks and several students shared their stories. The committee approved 19 students to receive scholarship awards totaling $14,000.
