NPC COORDINATES COUNTY-WIDE MANUFACTURING DAY EVENT

Hot Springs, Arkansas – National Park College (NPC) is coordinating a series of events on Manufacturing Day October 7. Seven area manufacturing companies and suppliers are providing industry tours, guest speakers, and participating in NPC campus events. Five local public schools have registered and are scheduled to participate with more than 600 students.

Manufacturing Day is part of a nationwide initiative from partner organizations trying to correct common misconceptions about manufacturing and recruit younger workers into high-wage and high-demand manufacturing careers.

NPC events will include the following:

  • Wood Technology

Trade Show in the NPC Southside Student Center
