NPC DEDICATES LEGACY HALL TO COMMEMORATE CAMPUS HISTORY

Hot Springs, Arkansas – National Park College (NPC) will host a building dedication for the newly named Legacy Hall Thursday, October 13 at 4 p.m. A special invitation was sent to past presidents of National Park College, directors of Quapaw Technical Institute, and Board of Trustee members to recognize the legacy of their leadership. All faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of NPC are invited to attend. A reception will follow.

The College will unveil new signage on the front of the building, formerly the Math and Sciences Building. A tribute wall will showcase past Board members and presidents commemorating their service to the campus and the community. A similar display will be installed to honor faculty and staff at a later date.

NPC President, Dr. John Hogan said, “NPC has more than 40 years of rich history to celebrate from Quapaw Technical Institute, Garland County Community College, and National Park Community College. Founding board member, Gene Parker has served on the College Board of Trustees since 1973. Ray Donathan began his term on the Board in 1977. That is an incredible level of commitment to the College and the community and we are excited to honor their service along with many others. Legacy Hall will serve as a place on campus to commemorate the dedication of people like, Mr. Parker and Mr. Donathan.”
