NPC HOSTS COLLEGE EXPLORATION DAY FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

NPC College Exploration DayHot Springs, Arkansas – National Park College (NPC) will host College Exploration Day Wednesday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the atrium of the Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences.

College Exploration Day is an opportunity for students to visit with representatives from colleges and universities all over the region, explore transfer options, and gather information about academic programs, admission requirements and student life.

The event is hosted by National Park University (NPU) and Student Affairs. NPU, which was designed to expand partnerships with four-year colleges and universities across the state, focuses on the development of guaranteed course transfer degrees which allow NPC students to enter a university program with full junior classification. NPU Director, Yolanda Mitchell said, “Students need to know that NPC faculty and staff believe in them and want to see them succeed. Transferring and earning their bachelor’s degree is one of the ways our students can achieve success, and we want to make their transition as easy as possible.”
