NPTC ENGINEERING STUDENTS VISIT HABITAT HOUSE

Hot Springs, Arkansas – National Park Technology Center (NPTC) Pre-engineering students visited a Habitat for Humanity jobsite last week so students could learn how houses are constructed.

Habitat for Humanity volunteersThe Civil Engineering and Architecture class is working on a project that requires each student to design a house which meets the Habitat for Humanity criteria using industry standard architectural design software. The students will perform mock interactions with clients and criteria will be refined based on the client’s hypothetical needs.
