NPC HOSTS QUARTERLY ADHE COORDINATING BOARD MEETING

Hot Springs, Arkansas – National Park College (NPC) will host the quarterly Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE) Coordinating Board meeting Friday, April 22.

The College will host a dinner reception at the Regency downtown Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. which will feature NPC student guitarist, Andrew Bomberger and local magician, Maxwell Blade.

Friday’s meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences. Attendance will include board members and guests from all over the state. The agenda will include an annual report on credentials awarded, student retention and graduation, performance funding outcomes, and a variety of academic proposals.

The ADHE Coordinating board consists of 12 members who are appointed by the governor and serve staggered six-year terms. The Arkansas Division of Higher Education serves as the administrative staff for the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. ADHE works closely with public colleges and universities in Arkansas to promote higher education across the state.
