National Park College, Garland County Farm Bureau Host State and Local Candidate Forum
February 8, 2016Hot Springs, Arkansas – The National Park College (NPC) Student Government Association and the Garland County Farm Bureau will host a State and Local Candidate Forum Tuesday, February 23, 2016. All state and local candidates seeking public office have been invited to participate. Dick Antoine, host of the KZNG-AM 1340 morning show, “Talk of the Town” will moderate the event. SGA President, Roger Powell, said, “Part of the mission of the Student Government Association is to promote student interest in citizenship issues. This event will allow our students, as well as the community, an opportunity to meet the candidates and ask the questions that are important to them as voters. Facilitating this event gives us the opportunity to not only serve our student body but the community as a whole.”
