T.J. Griffin was born in El Paso, Texas and graduated from White Hall High School.
She attended U of A Pine Bluff for two years on a volleyball scholarship and graduated
from U of A Monticello with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and
Recreation on a cheerleader, tennis, and softball scholarship. She also has a Master
of Science in Education from Henderson. She taught Elementary Physical Education at
White Hall, Hot Springs, and Malvern.
She has multiple certifications: Athletics & Fitness Association of America as a Primary
Group Exercise, Personal Trainer certification with Cooper Institute in Dallas, TX,
Barre Connect, Body Weight Training, Bootcamp, Tabata, Group Strength Training, RIPPED,
Zumba, Kickboxing, Indoor Cycling, and Step.
She has been a fulltime instructor since Spring 2011. She is also over the Wellness
Center and has five of the best adjuncts to team-teach with. Her hobbies are hiking,
biking, paddle-boarding, water skiing, camping and traveling!
