Aerospace represents Arkansas’ number one export and is home to nearly 150 well-known companies such as Airtech, AAR, CMT, Radius, Cobalt Dassault Falcon, Aerojet Rocketdyne, Esterline, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and more.

These companies provide new production, details, sub-assembly, and numerous productions to final integrators and defense contractors, making the state of Arkansas the nation’s fastest-growing defense corridor.

Program Overview

Get the proper training in as little as nine months with a certificate of completion in the Essentials of Aerospace Manufacturing and Repair. Gain the right skills and land a job earning worthwhile wages at some of the State’s most recognized aerospace companies. You will be highly valued for aerospace technical skills.

  • Learn technical capabilities in aerospace with 135 hours of industrial skills training. 
  • Embrace a well-rounded core competency curriculum to thrive in the industry in nine months-Introduction to Aerospace, Welding, Blueprint Reading, Laser Cutting, Inspection, CNC Machining, Microsoft Excel and Word. 
  • Work as a shipping and receiving coordinator, machine operator, plant inspector, welder, assembler, or planner. 
  • Earn a certificate of completion in the Essentials of Aerospace Manufacturing and Repair.
