In accordance with Arkansas State Law Act 141 of 1987 and revised Arkansas Department of Health Immunization Rules and Regulations revised 2014, all new students born after January 1, 1957 are required to provide legal proof of immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) to the Admissions Office or have an exemption before enrollment.
Medical/Philosophical/Religious Exemptions: Only the Arkansas Department of Health can provide these exemptions. The Department of Health can be contacted by calling 501.661.2169 or referring to Immunizations - Arkansas Department of Health. Documentation verifying approval should be sent from the Arkansas Department of Health and must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. Exemptions from the Arkansas Department of Health must be completed annually.
Blood test results proving immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella is acceptable. Only the Arkansas Department of Health can approve titer tests in lieu of receiving the required vaccine. The Department of Health can be contacted by calling 501.661.2169. The approval must be submitted to the Admissions Office.

Prior to scheduling your academic advising appointment, immunization records must be delivered to Student Services on the second floor of the Student Commons, mailed to NPC Admissions, or if you wish, you can email it to admissions@np.edu.
