Student ExpoNational Park Technology Center hosted a Student Expo on Thursday evening, April 28th, from 6:00-8:00pm. Students from the Advertising & Graphic Design, Engineering and Wood Technology programs showcased their work for family, friends, NPC students, and the Hot Springs community. This event was created to allow an outlet for student work. Even though many students do projects for businesses and community organizations in Hot Springs, not often can examples of all of these efforts be seen in one place.

Advertising and Graphic Design students were showcasing two-dimensional design work as well as 3D product package designs. Junior level engineering students had Vex robotic marble sorters as well as new product designs and demonstrations from senior engineering students. Wood Technology students had some beautiful, handcrafted boxes, skateboards and other items on display.

Student ExpoStudents from all the programs were on hand to answer questions about their work. Plans are in the works to continue to build on this idea and include other programs and disciplines next year. With over 100 people stopping by, the event was a great success for our students and for National Park Technology Center as a whole.
