Burt Woodall was born and raised in Hot Springs. He graduated from Hot Springs High School and immediately began working at Ed Foshee Automotive where he remained for 23 years. In 2007, Woodall started a new job at Kilby Automotive where he worked until 2012, giving him a total of 28 years experience in the automotive repair field. In the fall of 2012, he was hired at NPC Career Academy as a Level 1 High School Automotive instructor.  Once again, Woodall works alongside his good friend and former coworker, Don Foshee. Together they make a good team. He teaches about every aspect of the automotive braking system, manual transmission, and differential repair and engine performance/engine repair.

Woodall is married and has two sons.  He enjoys working in his shop at home, woodworking, fixing things that are broken, along with working on old chevy trucks, and riding four wheelers and motorcycles. He enjoys collecting vintage tools and spending time with family and friends.

He is passionate about his job and enjoys hearing from former students. He enjoys hearing what they are doing and what they have repaired from knowledge gained at NPC Career Academy.

NPC Career Academy High School Automotive is a great program for that student who wants to learn how to make his/her own car repairs or for the student who wishes to pursue auto service as a career choice.
