Rhonda HarringtonDr. Rhonda Hardin Harrington was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. After graduating from Hot Springs High School, she earned a BSE in Elementary Education and an MSE in Early Childhood, both from Arkansas State University, followed by an Ed. D. in Instruction, Curriculum & Leadership from Memphis State University. Her teaching experiences include 12 years at The Jonesboro Kindergarten Center, 6 years as Instructor & Assistant Professor at Arkansas State University, and 6 years as Assistant & Associate Professor at Henderson State University. While teaching at HSU, Dr. Harrington participated in the first continuous four-year degree program in education offered entirely at the National Park Campus, one of the valuable partnerships for which NPC is becoming known.

Rhonda has enjoyed contributing to the community as a part of Garland County Habitat, where she serves on the Family Selection Committee, is Past-President and a member of the Board. She has also participated with United Way as a Team Leader and member of Community Impact Teams. Another organization close to her heart is While We’re Waiting, a nonprofit faith-based support group for bereaved parents.

Dr. Harrington and her husband, Neal, own Express Employment Professionals, a small staffing agency in Hot Springs where she manages and implements client training for area supervisors, managers and future leaders. They have two children and a daughter-in-law, Ben & Libby Harrington of Hot Springs and Adam Harrington residing in Heaven since age 19.
