EMS Faculty and Clinical Coordinator, Nursing & Health Sciences
Hi, I’m Matt, your EMS & Clinical Instructor here at National Park College, and a proud NPC Paramedic graduate from the Class of 2012! With nearly 20 years of experience as a Paramedic, I’ve served on the front lines of healthcare in every kind of emergency you can imagine. Those years taught me the value of quick thinking, skill, and compassion—qualities I now work to pass on to my students. Along the way, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. I was able to deepen my understanding of leadership, teamwork, and the systems that keep patient care moving. Returning to NPC feels like coming full circle, and I’m excited to guide you through the same journey that shaped my own career. In my classes, you’ll get more than just lectures—you’ll get real-world scenarios, hands-on skills, and the mindset to thrive not just in exams, but in the unpredictable world of emergency medicine. I know what it’s like to sit where you are now, wondering what’s ahead. I can’t wait to help you build the knowledge, confidence, and grit you’ll need to succeed—whether in the back of an ambulance, the ER, or wherever your EMS career takes you. Let’s get started!
