Professor of Biology, STEM
I started my teaching career as a Graduate Assistant at Henderson State University after earning degrees in Biology & General Science. After graduate school, I taught Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry & Microbiology while working as lab manager for Garland County Community College which was renamed National Park Community College. As the college grew, I also taught Botany, Zoology, and upper-level classes for S.A.U. I still enjoy teaching immensely at what is currently named National Park College. Working with students, watching their growth, helping them learn to learn and succeed are my favorite parts of the job! I am so grateful that I get to enjoy the outdoor recreation available in Hot Springs year-round. Hiking, biking, tending hives, strolling downtown with my roly-poly mutts are such joys!
