Faculty, Nursing & Health Sciences
I have been teaching Anatomy and Physiology at NPC for the past 6 years. Before that, I was in the Health Sciences division, teaching Respiratory Therapy classes. I have been at NPC since 2012. In the summers, I teach clinical respiratory therapy at Saline Memorial Hospital, where I am a staff therapist. Clinical teaching is my favorite activity! My doctorate is in Physiology is from Pennsylvania State University, and my bachelor’s degree is from Bloomsburg State College (now Bloomsburg University) in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Before NPC, I was employed by General Electric Health Care, where I was a Clinical Applications Specialist for 2 product lines: anesthesia and critical care ventilation. I have held several offices with the Arkansas Society for Respiratory Care, including South District Chair, Co-Chair, and delegate. I live in Hot Springs with my wife and participate in activities and the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church.
