Lab Supervisor for English and Writing, Arts & Humanities
I have been teaching composition, remedial writing, and creative writing at NPC since August 2019. I have a BFA in Creative Writing, MA in TESOL, and an Arkansas Teaching License in 7-12 English Language Arts along with a background in adult education, teaching ESL and WAGE classes to English language learners and incarcerated individuals. As Writing Lab Supervisor, I strive to create a class experience where students have the time, instruction, and support needed to become confident, professional, and creative writers and individuals. I have a love and passion for stories including literature, film, television, video game campaigns, as well as myths and folklore. I have strong aspirations in my own creative writing. I live in Hot Springs with my wife. Both of us are active in the city’s theatre community.
