BACKGROUND/HISTORY

In previous administrations oversight of the College was the responsibility of the President, Vice-Presidents, Division Chairs and Department Heads by direction of the Board of Trustees. For the purpose of reorganization and restructure of the Campus use of an Executive Leadership Team has been implemented. 

SCOPE

This policy applies to and affects the Campus population as a whole. Executive Leadership Team membership is at the discretion of the President.

AUTHORITY

The Executive Leadership Team acts under the direction and through the leadership of the President as he/she governs based upon Board of Trustees Policies and State and Federal laws and regulations.

POLICY STATEMENT

The Executive Leadership Team will act as a cohesive unit as they deliberate matters related to the success of National Park College.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Executive Leadership Team shall conduct periodic meetings, special called meetings, retreats, and individual conferencing among the members which provides opportunity for institutional management activities and decisions.
