BACKGROUND/HISTORY

In previous administrations oversight of the College was the responsibility of the President, Vice-Presidents, Division Chairs and Department Heads by direction of the Board of Trustees. For the purpose of reorganization and restructure of the Campus use of a College Cabinet has been implemented. This policy renames prior policy known as Administration 4.000.

SCOPE

This policy applies to and effects the Campus population as a whole. Cabinet Membership is at the discretion of the President.

AUTHORITY

The Cabinet acts under the direction and through the leadership of the President as he/she governs based upon Board of Trustees Policies and State and Federal laws and regulations.

POLICY STATEMENT

The Cabinet will act as a cohesive unit as they deliberate matters related to the success of National Park College.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cabinet shall conduct periodic meetings, special called meetings, retreats, and individual conferencing among the members which provides opportunity for institutional management activities and decisions.
