National Park College, Hot Springs Arkansas is seeking a Director of Clinical Education for the Emergency Medical Sciences Program.
The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for coordinating clinical assignments for student rotations as well as documentation associated with clinical rotations. This requires excellent written and verbal communication with clinical field sites and students. In addition, classroom, laboratory and clinical teaching is required. Other duties include responsibilities required by all full-time faculty members, including but not limited to, using a learning management system, student advising, and college service activities.
Applicant must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services / Paramedic or other related field. A master’s degree in emergency medical services, fire science, or related field is preferred. Other job related experience may substitute for some educational requirements. Other required qualifications include National Registered Paramedic, state license and emergency medical provider instructor certification.
Previous teaching experience is ideal. This 9 month position reports to the Emergency Medical Sciences Program Chair and includes a generous benefit package. Start date will be August 14, 2017.
