Mary Kay Wurm headshotMary Kay Wurm is a Career Services Grant Consultant; she is a team oriented professional with a Bachelor of Education degree from Henderson State University and a Master of Education degree from UALR. As a former Director of Career Services and Service Learning at National Park College, she has a successful background in academic administration and workforce development, and extensive experience in program management including student services, employer outreach, staff supervision, and event promotion.

Mary Kay is passionate about NPC, Service Learning for students and the Hot Springs community. Her focus is encouraging others to achieve their goals and Student Success. She received the National Park College Outstanding Staff Award in 2018. NPC committee service has included; Strategic Planning, Higher Learning Commission Accreditation, Continuous Process Improvement, and the President’s Leadership Council.

As an alum of Leadership Hot Springs, Hot Springs National Park Rotary, and Past President of Arkansas Association of Colleges and Employers, Mary Kay remains active in the Hot Springs community.

Mary Kay and her husband Mike Wurm have two daughters and a son in law, Laura Wurm, Julie and Andrew McNerlin, and two grandchildren, Adalyn and Garrett McNerlin.
