Forrest Spicher is a native of Sunshine, Arkansas and currently serves as Community
Bank President for BancorpSouth in Hot Springs. Forrest is a graduate of Lake Hamilton
High School and the University of Arkansas. He is also attended National Park College.
Forrest currently serves as chairman for the National Park College Board of Trustees.
He also serves as a board member of the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, the
Hot Springs Metro Partnership, and Roy L. Murphy Razorback Club. Forrest is a past
chairman of boards for the Chamber of Commerce, the Metro Partnership, Ouachita Area
Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club, and the
Oaklawn Rotary Club. Forrest is also past board chairman for Mercy Hospital Hot Springs,
the National Park College Foundation, and NPC Alumni and Friends Council. He is twice
past chairman of the board at Hot Springs Baptist Church.
Forrest was named the Rotarian of the Year in 2006 for the Hot Springs National Park
Rotary Club. He received the Silver Beaver award for volunteerism from the Boy Scouts
of America Ouachita Area Council in 2007. He retired from twenty-five years as a high
school football official culminating as being selected for the 2008 All Star Game
held in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. He was named Man of the Year for Community
Service in 2008 by the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce. He was selected as
the National Park College Outstanding Alumnus in 2009. He received the 2016 Economic
Development Leadership award from the Hot Springs Metro Partnership.
Forrest and his wife Susan have two adult children, Brandon and Lindsey. Lindsey is
married to Carter Weston and they have one son, Shepherd.
