Welding

Program Overview

The Welding program will prepare you for employment in an industry with a variety of specializations including metal fabrication, basic metallurgy, use and application of various types of welding equipment and welding techniques. The program provides you with the opportunity to receive certification in several welding processes that are recognized nationally. You will leave the program with a good working knowledge of welding, and ready to go to work.

Welders are in demand all over the country.  From local factories, to out of state, to worldwide. You will be prepared for employment in industrial operations, privately owned shops and personal business ownership.

Local businesses want every welder we graduate and regularly visit our classes to recruit employees. Local industries include companies like Baxley Log Pro, SBI, Neptune Wash Systems, and Xpress Boats.

Program Structure

The courses are traditional face-to-face classes with hands-on training systems using industrial components and real life problem solving scenarios.
